Camela Gray
Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP), Supervised by Shirley Nedock LPC-S, In-person & Telehealth
Hello! My name is Cami Gray and I am a graduate student in the Marriage, Couples and Family Counseling program at Lamar University.
Before I began my counseling journey, I studied art at Texas State University. While I will always enjoy creating (especially ceramics), I have always wanted to pursue counseling. I am excited to focus my creative energy on providing a safe, compassionate and supportive space. I believe building a trusting relationship is key to productive and healing therapy and I am committed to providing a client-centered, empathetic environment.
Utilizing solution focused and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) approaches, I also recognize that adapting to the individual needs of each client is essential. I enjoy providing individual therapy, but I am also drawn to working with families and couples.
Because of my personal experience growing up, I am especially drawn to working with blended families. I really look forward to the opportunity to work together as we navigate and tackle the many challenges life can surprise us with.
