Isabelle Schwartz

Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP), Supervised by Shirley Nedock LPC-S, In-person & Telehealth

Hello! I am Isabelle and I am currently a master’s-level counseling intern at Living Tree Counseling Center in New Braunfels, Texas. I am also in the process of obtaining my graduate degree in clinical mental health counseling from The University of Texas at San Antonio.

My approach to counseling relies on creating a strong, compassionate, and collaborative therapeutic relationship by getting to know my client’s own unique life stories, experiences, and worldview. Within the counseling process, I will meet my clients where they are at, with support and without judgment. Through a humanistic lens, I want to highlight the strengths of each of my clients, while empowering them to bring out potential healing and growth. I am passionate about showing strong empathy and respect towards every single person who walks through my door.

I have a great interest in working with individuals of all ages and backgrounds, especially those working through trauma, stress, anxiety, depression, or life transitions. Additionally, I am incredibly passionate about working with the neurodivergent community such as those who have ADHD or autism spectrum disorder. I also have a strong interest in working with children of all ages by utilizing behavioral and adaptive approaches to lead to self-expression and positive development.

No matter what you are going through, I want to be a support system to help guide you towards your goals and reach your full potential. You are never alone, and as vulnerable as coming to counseling can be, I strive to create a space that is welcoming and comfortable, to push the limits of growth and healing for yourself.
