Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP), Supervised by Shirley Nedock LPC-S, In-person & Telehealth

Hi! I’m Katy, a counseling intern pursuing a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I believe meaningful therapy considers the whole person—not only what you’re feeling, but your experiences, relationships, environment, strengths, values, and the life you’re trying to build. My goal is to create a warm, collaborative space where you feel genuinely heard while we work toward greater clarity and meaningful change.

I enjoy working with people of all ages navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, life transitions, relationships and family dynamics, academic and career concerns, chronic illness, faith and spirituality, and times of feeling overwhelmed or stuck. My approach is highly person-centered and tailored to each individual, incorporating strategies from CBT, narrative and existential therapies, motivational interviewing, and other evidence-based approaches as they fit your needs and goals. My experiences in education and business have also shaped my practical, strengths-based perspective on growth and change.

Outside of counseling, I’m a wife and mom of four who loves reading, sports, spending time outdoors, and learning new things. I look forward to working with you!
