LeAnn Pearce
Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP), Supervised by Shirley Nedock LPC-S, In-person & Telehealth
My name is LeAnn Pearce and I am a graduate student specializing in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of Louisiana Monroe. I am passionate about helping children, teens, adults, and couples navigate life’s challenges to find balance and peace.
Before beginning my journey in counseling, I worked in the field of animal behavior, focusing on the rehabilitation of dogs dealing with trauma and aggression. That work deeply informed my understanding of emotional regulation, safety, and connection—needs that are just as vital for humans.
My practice is grounded in evidence-based techniques for emotional regulation and healing, and I take a warm, client-centered approach to each session. I believe therapy should be a space for creativity, expression, and growth. With a Bachelor of Fine Arts in photography, I enjoy incorporating creative modalities into the therapeutic process to help clients explore and express their emotions in ways that feel natural and safe.
Whether you're navigating stress, trauma, relationship struggles, or personal growth, I am here to walk alongside you with empathy and encouragement. Together, we will work toward creating a life that feels grounded, fulfilling, and authentically yours.
