Hi, I’m Maddison Mitchell, a counseling intern with a passion towards helping individuals process challenging experiences, manage emotional struggles, and explore identity in a supportive space. I am deeply committed to helping people feel seen, heard, and supported as they move through life’s challenges.
My approach to counseling is rooted in empathy, collaboration, and a nonjudgmental understanding of each person’s lived experience. I draw from person-centered, DBT-informed, and narrative approaches, allowing space for both emotional understanding and practical coping while honoring each client’s unique story. I value self-discovery, authentic expression, and the courage it takes to explore difficult emotions. I tailor my approach to each client’s unique needs and goals, working together to foster clarity, resilience, and emotional well-being.
Whether you’re processing past experiences or feeling stuck in the present, I’m here to walk alongside you move toward meaningful change. I strive to offer a compassionate, grounded space where healing and growth feel possible.
