Hello! My name is Zoey, and I am a master’s-level student in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program at The University of Texas at San Antonio. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies from Texas State University, where I discovered my passion for the connection between communication and psychology. From there, I began my counseling journey and returned to my hometown of San Antonio to continue my education and training.

My approach to counseling is collaborative, thoughtful, and client-centered. I care deeply about the people I work with and am passionate about creating a warm, nonjudgmental space where clients feel safe, supported, and heard. My goal as a counselor is to meet each client wherever they are and work alongside them as they work toward meaningful, personal goals.

Outside of counseling, I am a daughter, sister, and cat mom! You’ll usually find me spending time with family and friends, enjoying the outdoors, or trying out a new hobby. I love learning new things and am always looking for opportunities to grow in all aspects!
